Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is a private, nonprofit research and educational institution located in Cold Spring Harbor, New York, on the north shore of Long Island. Founded in 1890, it is renowned for its contributions to molecular biology, genetics, genomics, neuroscience, plant biology, and quantitative biology, and has been home to multiple Nobel Prize laureates.
