Oman

Dhofar University (DU) is a private, not-for-profit institution of higher education in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman, established by Ministerial Decree No. 5/2004 in January 2004. It follows the American system of higher education with English as the medium of instruction for most programs, and was the first university to receive academic accreditation by the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA). It comprises four colleges—Arts and Applied Sciences, Commerce and Business Administration, Engineering, and Law—plus a Foundation Program.
