Central South University (CSU) is a comprehensive national key university located in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. It was formed in April 2000 through the merger of the former Hunan Medical University, Changsha Railway University, and Central South University of Technology. CSU is a Project 985 and Double First-Class university renowned for its programs in engineering, medicine, and science, and is home to the historic Xiangya Medical School, one of China's oldest medical institutions.
