The International Hellenic University (IHU) is a public university based in Thessaloniki, Greece, established by Law No. 3391/2005 and re-established by Law No. 4610/2019. It was Greece's first public university where programmes were taught exclusively in English. Since merging with TEIs in Northern Greece in 2019, it has become one of the largest Greek universities, with campuses in Thessaloniki, Serres, Katerini, and Kilkis, comprising eight Schools and twenty-five Departments. English-taught programmes are offered through the University Center of International Programmes of Studies (UCIPS), which includes the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Economics and the School of Science and Technology.
