The University of North Alabama (UNA) is a public university located in Florence, Alabama, and is the oldest public university in the state, founded in 1830. It offers undergraduate and graduate programs across four colleges: the College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering; Sanders College of Business and Technology; Spencer College of Education and Human Sciences; and the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions. UNA is known for its welcoming environment for international students and its English as a Second Language (ESL) pathway program.
