The University of Petra (UOP) is a private university established in 1991 and located in western Amman, Jordan. It is accredited by the Higher Education Accreditation Commission (HEAC) in Jordan and is a member of the Association of Arab Universities. UOP comprises seven faculties offering bachelor's and master's degree programs in fields including Information Technology, Arts and Sciences, Pharmacy and Medical Sciences, Architecture and Design, Administrative and Financial Sciences, Mass Communication, and Law.
