Al al-Bayt University (AABU) is a public university located on the outskirts of Mafraq, approximately 65 kilometers northeast of Amman, Jordan. Established in 1993 by Royal Decree, it combines scientific methodology in teaching and research with Islamic heritage. The university has nine faculties offering 35 undergraduate programs, 33 MA programs, and 2 PhD programs, and ranks among the top ten universities in Jordan.
